Why you should start with a single blog
Let me tell you why you should start with a single blog only. Unexperienced bloggers that wants to have multiple blogs right at the beginning is just screaming for failure. People who have no clue about blogging should not jump right onto the make money online bandwagon. Do not forget that the way on top of the stairs is through the single steps.
Time management
If you’ve watched the movie Evan Almighty, the main character Evan wants to change the world. God taught him a lesson that if he wants to change the world, he should start with once act of random kindness. Just like in blogging, don’t get too excited on how much money other people have earned online. There is no such thing as easy money. If you have multiple blogs right from the start, there is a huge possibility that one blog might take more of your time that you tend to neglect the other blogs. Worst, if you are not a full time blogger, you are in deeper trouble.
Content management
You are the Jack of all trades, master of none. Writing multiple contents at on different topics is exhausting. Keep in mind that blogging is not all about writing content; you still need to work on your marketing and discover ideas on how to make money from it. Writing is not a routinary work that you can do anytime, anywhere. It’s not as if you’ll not loose ideas to write on.
Besides, multiple blogs can make you too stressful to think. You will suck in your writing that you’ll find it a hard to write quality and creative contents. You will lack focus because you are thinking way too much. One blog might take away more of time than the other. Or you may favour one blog over another and in the end, neglect some of your blogs.
It could eat up you up financially
Make sure your blogs are paying the bills for you, not the other way around. You need money for the domain, web hosting, blog design and advertising. If all works well for you, it’s good then, but it’s not, that’s a huge amount money and time to loose.
Progress would be slow
You are an unexperienced blogger, even though you have money to spend for advertising, it would not guarantee success. You have to build readership. Promoting a single blog is difficult, what more if you have multiple blogs under your wing.
So concentrate on one single blog first. But if you are a risk taker and still want to work on multiple blogs, work on it!
